Each interested farm must submit its application using the appropriate form
Main Farms 2026
Main farms benefit from all the services offered by the Network. They make up the entirety of the farms in the Network. They are the only ones allowed to market their products through the website fermierdefamille.org and to carry the title of Family Farmer.
Membership fees are $200 + tax per year, and the contribution from citizen members subscribed to baskets is a non-taxable $28.
The following steps apply:
- Complete the registration form and submit the required documentation
- Discuss the project
- Farm visit
- Application review
- Committee decision
The advisory committee’s decision can result in one of three outcomes for the farm:
- Accepted as is
- Accepted with conditions
- Refused
Partner Farms 2026
Partner farms offer their products to main farms to supplement and enhance their baskets or to provide additional ordering options for subscribers. These products can include fresh vegetables, berries, processed goods, etc. Partner farms do not sell their products directly to the public through the Network.
Each year, the RFF publishes a directory of both main and partner farms to help main farms discover partner farms. However, the RFF does not guarantee minimum sales for partner farms.
Fees are $175 + tax per year, except for start-up farms, which benefit from a preferential rate of $150 + tax.
