For the autumn campaign, partner with a farm from the Family Farmer Network to fund your school project by offering organic vegetable baskets to parents and staff members at your institution!
What: Local, organic vegetable baskets
Registration: Until June 15 in preparation for the following fall
Basket sales: September to November (allow at least 3 weeks)
Delivery of baskets to your institution: October to November
A Turnkey Solution!
Our program is simple to implement and supports local, organic agriculture! The baskets available for sale come in three sizes:
Small Basket – $40
Medium Basket – $80
Large Basket – $120
Revenue is distributed as follows: 75% goes to the farm, and 25% goes to your organization. Consequently, each basket sold generates $10, $20, or $30 for you, depending on the size. The minimum threshold for participating in a campaign is set at 60 baskets.
To learn more, check out our brochure, which details every step of the process, the contents of the baskets, and the key contacts available to assist you.
What do the baskets contain?
The quantities and varieties of vegetables offered vary depending on the farms and their harvests. While not limited to this list, you can expect to receive between 7 and 9 varieties from the following:
beets, onions, carrots, garlic, celeriac, potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, squash, cabbage, Napa cabbage, kohlrabi, parsnips, rutabagas, turnips, winter radishes, kale, leeks, sweet potatoes, radicchio, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, fresh herbs, etc.

OFFER A SOLIDARITY BASKET
The project offers the possibility of strengthening food security through a basket donation option. These baskets will be directed to an organization (food bank or neighbourhood organization) jointly chosen by the institution and the farm.
