Basket contents: fresh, local, seasonal vegetables and fruits
By registering for a CSA basket with the Family Farmers Network, you will discover the joy of eating fresh and seasonal vegetables and fruits.
Each family farmer’s goal is to provide you with a weekly abundance of variety, choice, freshness and quality. Some farms are equipped with cold or heated greenhouses and/or tunnels, allowing them to extend the growing season for favourites such as tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and peppers.
You may also discover vegetables with which you are less familiar, providing a great opportunity to try new recipes!
